Cool web interfaces - Current Cost

Recently I discovered a friend of mine @markphelan had his house hooked up to Twitter using a Current Cost electricity monitor. Being the avid geek that I am i've simply got to get this working for my house and get some Google Charts API involved to get some pretty graphs plotted on my current power consumption!
By coincidence a guy that i'm following on Twitter posted a comment about the National Grid's Twitter feed displaying the current electricity output for the UK and what's being imported/exported to and from France/Northern Ireland. I think its just me but I think its interesting that more and more companies/services are using web 2.0 technologies to interconnect data for people to use in interesting ways.

I'll update on my own Current Cost twitter feed as and when I can aquired the relevant hardware! :)
